In my reading, we met a guy named Jon that bought a short bus from his mothers friend to travel to destinations. So far in this section of our reading, Jon went to two different places. The short bus Jon bought was not very nice and needed work on, so he did this by spending almost his whole savings. I like Jon's idea of the short bus, however i felt as though he could have gotten his point across by just getting a van or something else to travel in, to save him a lot of money. In this section of our reading, we also meet Becky who is Jon's girlfriend. Becky is traveling with Jon and in the process, they take a detour where Jon asks her to marry him. He proposes with a plastic ring. If Jon would have decided on a different vehicle he could have saved money to buy her a nice ring to do it the more traditional way. We first meet Brent, who's mother Sara is trying to file a lawsuit. After meeting Brent in New Mexico, Jon and Becky head to Austin Texas where they meet up with Jon's old friend Kent who had ADHD.
